Call to Rise

At this point there is no way to disappoint.
No one in the news or in the media can paint the truth.
It’s all just disillusions for higher viewings.
The framework they applied was stamped off by their editor in chief.
We stay in competition with each other, rather than trying to uplift one another.
The one percent doesn’t comprehend, what the other ninety-nine are enduring.
Even worse the 99% tries to divide & hide it.
As if the vibes we transcend outward, are all just pretend.
Waiting on timing to bare permission.
Paying our dues with years of submission.
The only way to elevate is to rise up.
Gravitate towards the energy your soul craves to be transparent.
In an atmosphere filled with half-truths & misconceptions.
We can no longer stall out of fear.
Please my Queens & Kings, stop mindlessly roaming.
Waking up every day, simply to repeatedly go through the motions.
We are all expressions of the collective & in that I mean different tones.
Strokes leading different paths.
Often these routes are foreign & uncomfortable.
But at times we get lucky.
Trekking through trails our ancestors engraved & paved for us.
So please be so kind to share your truth & beam your light.
No one knows your plight.
So do not permit the 1% to label you in a dim light.
Artists expressions are eclectic forms, that represent real life.
True reflections of our lights.
So please rise up & write.
Or sing, paint, dance.
Whatever it is you do, please create the reality
you want to be depicted.
We are all creatives we just gotta own it.

"It is a love letter to all the kings and queens finding their peace and affirming their value. Mental health is something I tend to daily so that I don't lose hope. Photography, journaling and poetry give me that safe space to just be."
